Reinhardt's Poway Decision Curtly Struck Down

The Supreme Court apparently thought very little of the 9th circuit decision in Harper v. Poway, which gave school districts the authority to tell students what messages they can wear on their t-shirts. (Note Kozinski's stern dissent.) The Court vacated the judgment and then remanded it back to the 9th circuit with instructions to dismiss it as moot.

Given that it is indeed moot already, that the Court made the deliberate act of vacating it says something about how much they thought of Reinhardt's opinion.

Story here.
