I've heard about these stories a lot over the last few years. Unscrupulous lawyers finding handicappers for hire to go into small business and find some little infraction or another--such as a bathroom mirror that is too high--and sue the pants off them.
Now one of these owners is striking back, filing a lawsuit for abuse of process, fraud, and malicious prosecution, against David Gunther of Morse Mehrban. Gunther says that claim is "without merit." How's that for irony?
